Ginger is one of the most popular kombucha flavoring ingredients. Its spicy, warming flavor pairs beautifully with the tangy base of kombucha. Fresh ginger root provides the most vibrant flavor and adds a pleasant heat that builds with longer fermentation.

Brouwtip

Use fresh ginger, thinly sliced or grated. Add 1-2 tablespoons per 16oz bottle during F2. The longer you leave it, the spicier it gets. Peel before adding for a cleaner taste.
